About the event
Former Waldron native Adam Lagaveen will be hosting two Native American Flint Knapping and Tool Making demonstrations at SCOMOH on Saturday September 17, 2022. Adam will demonstrate everything from sourcing local materials to the tools used during flintknapping. He will also demonstrate from start to finish how to create several stone tools. There will be several items for attendees to hold and touch. There will be two demonstrations, one in the morning starting at 9:00 am and another starting at in the afternoon at 12:00 pm. Each demonstration will be approximately 1-3 hours. This is a limited attendance event due to the location restrictions. There are a total of 60 tickets available for this event, 30 for the morning and 30 for the afternoon. Members can use one or more of their free admission passes for this event, plus 10% off additional tickets!
